General Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions come into effect upon each registration. For questions, please contact the driving school.

Duration of lessons

A lesson usually lasts 90 minutes and costs CHF 195. During this time, any instructions, explanations, final discussion, appointment scheduling, and billing are included.

Cancellation due to bad weather

In the event of a storm warning or a violent thunderstorm, the driving lesson can be postponed. The driving student will not incur any costs for the lesson that has been cancelled. If the lesson is interrupted during the driving lesson, the time already spent will be charged.

Unregistration by driving students / Late arrival

If a lesson agreed upon is cancelled less than 72 hours in advance, the driving school may charge the normal price of 75%. The student bears the risk of illness or other reasons themselves. In case of delays, the driving school must be notified immediately by telephone. The lost time is generally the responsibility of the driving student. If the driving school is not informed about the delay, it is not obliged to wait any longer after a waiting period of max. 15 minutes. In this case, the lesson will be charged at the full price. In case of no-show at the agreed upon date, the agreed upon time will be fully charged.
Example: Normal 1 lesson of 1.5 hours * 130 CHF = 195 CHF
In case of cancellation less than 72 hours in advance: 195 * CHF 0.75 = 146.25 CHF

Issuance of invoices / Payment terms

The costs for the driving school are generally to be paid in cash directly before each lesson. However, the driving school usually issues invoices at the end of each month by invoice and email. With the payment method invoice, an advance payment of 1‘500 CHF is usually required.

Equipment / Clothing

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing:
✓ Sneakers / athletic shoes preferred with a light rubber sole
✓ Sweater / Wind jacket / Rain cover (Rain jacket, rain pants)
✓ Sun protection (sunglasses, sunscreen, hat)

Liability / Personal injury

The driving school and the vessel are insured for the operation of the driving school. Damages that occur to the vessel or to third parties during the driving lesson are covered, and the student does not need additional insurance. In the event of accidents and injuries that the driving student causes themselves without the driving school being at fault, every student is responsible themselves.

Buses

Buses that are clearly caused by the fault of the driving student are fully at the expense of the driving student.

Alcohol, drugs and medication

The learner must comply with the legal regulations regarding the driving of a vehicle. In the event of suspicion of alcohol and/or drug abuse and/or medication influence, the driving school reserves the right to refuse the driving lesson or cancel it. This will be fully charged.

General Terms and Conditions

The contract comes into effect upon registration (in person, by phone or online) and expires automatically upon successful completion of the practical exam. The driving school undertakes to provide the driving student with a flawless and proper training under the stated conditions.

Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
